A friend of ours went to the last night of Kylie's Manchester stint and reported on our Facebook page: <blockquote><em>"She was great - like you - I hate the MEN - always get lost trying to get back to my seat - she sounded good though."</em></blockquote> Nevertheless, a good sound engineer get's it right <strong>first </strong>time! From where we were sitting (Block 114 lower) the sound was awful and why were there no video screens?"</em> * <em>"started 20 minutes late. Distorted sound. Over-amplified to a painful level." </em> * Gigwise columnist Gill Ripley sums it up rather succinctly in her opening paragraph of a recent review. She writes: <em>"In the intestines of hell, otherwise known as the MEN Arena..."</em> It seems I’m not alone in my opinions:
